Accumulation, donning a hard hat, leans sweetly against the machinery. He gestures with a polished nail at the flickering opening of a gas valve:

Winds blow away from a high-pressure zone. Squeezed out, they leave a vacuum, hot, that encourages chemical reaction. The empty space begets growth, as in that *natural* taste for expansion. And inflation? It suckles at that infrastructure. The vacuum quickly fills until, distended, that high pressure is met once again by the winds. And the growth is extended outside, proving once and for all that those walls were never an end but an aperture. And does the boss know that. Why else would he keep buying these balloons?

The whistling speeds like a mist over his hi-visibility vest.

Wait for me addresses the movement of resources within Moscow’s creative clusters. Using the air of the gallery space, the exhibition observes a relation between time and value.

Brianna Leatherbury (1995, New York) is an artist working between objects and language. She explores their compatibility and generosity within questions of differentiation. Addressing bodies and economies alike, Leatherbury creates systems that manifest their linguistic collapse under the notion of a “resource.” She is a graduate of The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art (New York) and a recipient of the Fulbright Research Award in 2018. She is currently an artist in residence at Gallery Elektrozavod, Moscow where she is researching the partnership of telecommunications and the body.
